It’s 2002, we’re here, we’re chicks & we’re TOXIC!.. “A glorious compilation of scraggedyripped and torn electro rock spinning the whole Girl Power cliché onits axis.”…(ID Magazine UK)
In 2002 Milkymee was a baby but she did her first appearance as a musician on a fabulous compilation called
TOXIC GIRLS! A NIGHTMARE FOR (13) UNLUCKY BOYSTARS!
NOW ON BANDCAMP! TAKE A LISTEN!
Toxic Girls! is an energetic electro-punk compilation that wasn’t put outby some highcred indie label basking its own artsy pretensions. Sound strange? Instead Tsunami-Addiction, a Parisian creative collective with assistance from Kutt magazine -known for its hugely successful contributors and high culture photographers-released the inventive album.(…) Toxic Girls! seems to be the collective’s most convincing introduction of drop dead cool artists. The 18-track, all female compilation features Milkymee, The Very Ape, The Konki Duet, Rythm king & her friends, Noak Katoi (…) brandishing their own versions of beat-up, techno-derived punk. All songs are originals, except for a Nina Hagen cover from Thyra Hilden Band. With its hesitant, faltering vocals and beat-box standards, Toxic Girls! was given some dexterity and depth through the addition of dDamage as ghost producers. (Vice magazine)

But the boyz appeared upset about the image the toxic girls! painted on them. Derisively, boyz came together on a same compilation cd giving an ideal male response to this female opus playing the one-shot crooner, the feminine biker or the creepy dandy.
