Today I woke up and my flatmate was listening to some great music in the kitchen. It was Silver Apples. She’s VJ-ing tonight with Arnaud Rebotini and they’re sharing the stage with cult band Silver Apples in Tours, France (for more info check HERE). In the late sixties, while the Beach Boys were making Pet Sounds and the Beatles were doin’ their thing, Silver Apples were paving the way for avant garde/synth pop.
